  This year, more than a million Americans will have refractive surgery.  No doubt, celebrities like Tiger Woods, Greg Maddox, Bobby Rahal, Troy Aikman, Drew Carey, Mathew Brodrick, Cindy Crawford, and Brad Pitt have popularized the procedure.
